|
"Another
Rainy Day..."
was re-issued on Nippon Phonogram
as 6RS-7
in January 1979 when the Arista licence
became theirs. However, that (re)issue is
extremely difficult to come by and
although it probably came in the same
sort of sleeve as the original, a scan of
it + any additional info would be nice,
thanks.
|
|
"Bye
Bye Baby"/"It's For You"(early
'79)
(Nippon Phonogram 6RS-9)
One suspects that there may
have been even more BCR single releases in these early '79
Nippon Phongram re-issue series (# 6RS-8 ? # 6RS-10 ?)
So, needless to add, anyone with info...

"Money
Honey"/"??" (probably
"Maryanne")(early '79)
(Nippon Phonogram 6RS-? -
probably # 6RS-10)
Anyone with a better scan
& more detailed info on this one (and maybe others
not listed here), by all means

"Rock
And Roll Love Letter"/"Shanghai'd
In Love"(02/'79)
.
(Nippon
Phonogram 6RS-11)
.
Thanks
to McCANN for the scan & the info!

"Saturday
Night"/"Hey! C.B."(03/'79)
(Nippon
Phonogram 6RS-12)
Notes:
Certainly one of the rarest Japanese
singles, this one's a bit odd as well. As
usually, we get the 1974, Les McKeown-sung
version of "Sat.Night",
although the label claims it is from 1973
(like the original was) and
we get the Nobby Clark-sung "Hey! C.B.",
the 1973 B-side of the original "Sat.Night",
on the flip side.
Even odder yet, this one seems to have
been issued in two different picture
sleeves, under the same cat.#.

|
|

|
"Turn
On The Radio"/
"Washington's Birthday"(08/'79)
(Nippon
Phonogram 6RS-28)
Notes:
Phonogram
certainly liked to keep their bases
covered and billed the band both as The
Rollers and Bay City
Rollers on the sleeve.
|
|
|

|
"Elevator"/
"Tomorrow's Just A Day Away"(12/'79)
(Nippon
Phonogram 6RS-38)
The
Rollers
|
|
|

|
"God
Save Rock & Roll"/"Soho"(05/'80)
(Nippon
Phonogram 6RS-67)
The
Rollers
|
|
|

|
"Piece
Of The Action"/
"Seen This Movie"(07/'83)
(Overseas/Teichiku
YE-22-V)
|
|
|

|
"When
You Find Out"/"The
Whip"(08/'85)
(Polydor/London
SO7P-1067)
Notes:
Contains a slightly different mix of
"When You..." than the one
included on the "Breakout"('85)
album(s) in Japan and Oz.
