Fugue with 3 themes, 4 voices, 2/2 beats, 184 bars


This piece is an exact counterpart to Cp.8.
Both employ the same three themes, consist of many parts and have
almost the same bar number of 188 and 184.

Every theme is presented either in authentic form or inverted, but when
three themes are combined, only the authentic form is utilized.

Mainly, five parts make a piece. The chart below shows its outline.

Roughly dividing into two, the first half is section 1-3 and the second half is
section 4-5 because the section 4-5 are filled with fragments of the third
theme.

This piece can be recognized as sonata style if you regard the first theme
and the second as the alternate exposition, in other wards, it consists of
the exposition for section 1 and 2, the development for section 3 and 4,
and the recapitulation for section 5. Waiting for the sonata style to be
systematized in the future, this piece of work stands alone as a mutation
rather than a course of evolution.
