Holy Pagoda
Long time ago, YANGON was called Okarappa. One day brother from the INDIA brought holly Buddha 's hair . They buried the hiar in a hill top of Dagon. Dagon was center of Okarappa. And Myanmar people made big Pagpda. Dagon is name of there. And 'Shwe' means gold or holly in Myanmar language. Shwedagon is joined two word that Shwe and Dagon.

Holy sound.
Top of the Pagoda , there is many of hanging bell. When breeze coming , We heared comfortable sound from there. If you visit Pagoda You should stay long time in the shade . So you can find Myanmar people who beleave Buddha seriously. You will hear holy bell sound.

Holy beauty
Shwedagon Pagoda is the most beautiful Pagoda in Myanmar.
